{camp}

We went on our first camp trip of the summer. It started out warm and sunny, we had a yummy dutch oven dinner and dessert, and started to roast marshmallows, then a DARK cloud came rolling in...... let just say the we made it in the tent just in time. It rained and rained and rained, not just a little but walls of water were coming down. Oh and the wind was out of control too! We were all snug in in our sleeping bags when Miss Madelyne announced she need to use the restroom. I changed the girls out of their PJ's and we ran to the car. (there was no way I was going to walk in all that rain!) We made it back changed out of their wet clothes and put back on the PJ's. And quickly fell asleep to the sound of the rain. We woke up in the morning to the pretty sun again. Even with all the rain we had a wonderful camping trip!
